The Public Safety Training Program at Four County Career Center's Adult Education Division offers Emergency Medical Training, Firefighter Training, and First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogen Training.

The Program is an accredited training program for emergency medical training and fire fighter training through the Ohio Department of Public Safety Division of EMS (Accreditation #205).

The actions of the first person at the scene of an emergency can mean the difference between life and death or full recovery and permanent disability for those injured or ill.  The courses outlined below offer the lay person or first responder to an emergency the knowledge and confidence to initiate simple lifesaving techniques until professional help arrives.

All instructors are certified and most are practicing EMTs or paramedics.  Each course includes instructional materials and/or textbooks that will be used during class and that will provide a permanent resource for post-class review.

Some programs require students to attend testing prior to start of class. Check with Dan Frederick for more information.
