Computer Usage Classes

These classes are designed to help users learn how to work with Windows, organize files, develop word processing documents, manage a database and work with a spreadsheet program. These classes will enable the user to become more comfortable and confident using the computer at home as well as be more productive at work. Choose the course that best meets your needs.

 

 

Computer Usage Level I

7 wks     21 hrs     $135

This class is for those who have little or no previous experience using keyboards or computers. It features hands-on experience and individual attention to ensure you have a successful learning experience.

Computer Usage Level II

7 wks     21 hrs     $135

This class is for the student who is familiar with keyboarding and using a computer mouse. It is faster-paced than  Computer Usage Level I and covers more material to enable the student to maximize the learning experience.

Keyboarding/Typing*

5wks     12 hrs     $120

An introduction to the keyboard used on both computers and typewriters. This introductory course will focus on typing techniques and students will develop a typing speed of up to 30 words per minute with accuracy. (Textbook cost is included in the course fee.)
