Ellie received a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Toledo in Geriatric Services, and has obtained a certificate in Human Resource Management from UT.

Working in healthcare for the past 17 years, the last ten as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, has given Ellie an excellent background for human resource management. As a healthcare professional, she was responsible for nursing home operations including marketing, budgeting, human resource management, planning, organizing, and program development. In her last administrative position, Ellie was responsible for 100 nursing home residents and their families, over 100 employees, and a $3.5 million for profit operation.

Ellie is active in her hometown of Napoleon where she is a member of the Napoleon Community Band.  She also serves as the Co-director of children's bell choir at her local church.
